These nonsterile, latex-free strips are designed as a skin-friendly alternative to standard tape. The curved strip has a thinner edge to help it lie smoothly against the skin and under clothing, while the Y-shape strip adds broader support where the barrier may need more surface coverage to help limit rolling or lifting.
Barrier Shapes
The curved-shape barrier strip (item #120700) measures 5-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches and is used around the barrier edge for added security. One or two strips may be applied depending on where reinforcement is needed around the ostomy barrier.
