ABENA San Premium Bladder Protection Pads

ABENA San Pads, formerly known as ABENA Abri-San Premium Incontinence Pads, now have a slightly different name and package but feature the same dependable coverage and protection. ABENA's range of anatomically shaped bladder protection pads are available for light to heavy bladder incontinence. The materials have a cotton feel and are fully breathable, with Top Dry Technology for fast wicking to promote skin health.

The ABENA San Premium Bladder Protection Pad family is divided into two groups based on size and how the pads are affixed. The specialty product, ABENA San Special, also has double urinary and fecal incontinence protection.

• Sizes 1 to 4: These pads are thin and absorb 200 to 800 milliliters of fluid, depending on size, to accommodate light to moderate bladder protection. The peel-off tape on the back of the pad makes it easy to apply directly to underwear.
• Sizes 5 to 10 and Special: These pads are larger, holding 1,200 to 2,800 milliliters for moderate to heavy incontinence protection. This group does not have peel-off tape to adhere to underwear. These insert pads are intended to be worn with Abri-Fix fixation underwear as a two-piece system. The underwear helps the pads stay in place and reduces the risk of leakage. ABENA's life cycle assessment found that using a two-piece system over an incontinence brief reduced the number of raw materials, resulting in less waste and environmental impact on the landfills.
