BioWaveGo Pain Relief Device Overview
Who Uses the BioWave Go? Individuals who experience chronic or acute pain use this device for smarter pain management.
Why They Love It: This electrotherapy device sends therapeutic electrical signals directly to the nerves, blocking pain signals from reaching the brain. It can be used nearly anywhere on the body where there is pain. The unit is easy to use and doesn't require any programming. A convenient app is available for smartphones.
The BiowaveGo Wearable Chronic Pain Relief Technology Device delivers therapeutic electrical stimulation to treat pain at the source. It works on nearly any part of the body where pain is present, including the back, shoulders, back of the neck, wrists, hands, fingers, knees, ankles, and feet. The pain relief usually lasts for 8 hours, but patients have reported an improvement for up to 24 hours. Use over time results in cumulative benefits since the nerves are being treated directly. The BiowaveGo small size lets it fit perfectly in purses, briefcases, and carry-on luggage so patients can take it wherever they need to. It is easy to use and does not require any programming. An app is available in both the Apple and Google Play stores.

Deeper Pain Relief
Unlike other TENS machines, the BioWave Go unit uses patented technology to target pain directly at the source. The technology works like Novocain, but instead of chemical interference, it uses electrical signals. It creates an active electrical field approximately 3.5 inches in diameter beneath the electrode. It then sends pain-blocking signals through the skin into deep tissue and to the pain-receiving nerves. This inhibits action along the nerves, preventing the pain signals from traveling up to the brain and providing immediate and long-lasting relief. The average user is pain-free for approximately 8 hours, but many patients have reported up to 24 hours of relief. This device is clinically proven to work long after users have stopped their treatment, decreasing the consumption of pain medications and letting users feel better and do more.
Please note: Because the electrical field forms directly beneath the electrode, placement is extremely important. They must be placed directly over the pain locations or origin site.
How Is BioWave Go Different From a TENS Unit?
A TENS unit uses lower-frequency signals that work closer to the skin's surface to help alleviate pain. By comparison, BioWave's patented high-frequency signals reach past the skin into deep tissue, blocking pain signals from reaching the nerve at all. Because it affects nerves inside the body, the standard 30-minute treatment can provide long-lasting relief.
Optional Additions
The BioWaveGo device is wearable so users can take their pain relief to go. Vitality Medical offers different types of BioWaveGo garments for the knees and back as well as several convenient BioWaveGo accessories for purchase, including extra electrodes and charging cables. The garments provide compression during treatment and keep the BioWave unit in place. Each wrap is easy to put on and take off, requiring no assistance. They are ideal for hard-to-reach areas such as the lower back. The accessories include a carry bag, extra electrodes, and charging cables.
