Vacutainer Eclipse Blood Collection Needle Overview

The Eclipse Blood Collection Needle is a multisample blood collection needle, facilitating as many samples as needed with one needlestick for increased patient comfort. The needle collects blood while reducing the risk of needlestick injuries, while providing a barrier between the patient’s blood and the healthcare worker. The barrier gives an audible click, signifying the needle is fully protected. It's also designed with a thumb pad for one-handed application.

BD offers a variety of needle gauges with or without pre-attached tube holders that are preassembled, saving time before placing the blood serum tube.
