BD 5 mL Syringe with BD Vial Access Cannula (product number: 303403) provides a single-use, sterile solution for needle-free vial access. The syringe and blunt cannula are developed for use with pre-slit septum systems from brands including InterLink, LifeShield, and SafeLine™. The cannula features a colored alert ring to indicate compatibility.
This syringe supports aspiration, reconstitution, and vial withdrawal workflows, reducing needlestick risk through its non-sharp design. The system is not suitable for conventional rubber-stopper vials. Only preslit septum access is supported.
