BD Insyte Autoguard Winged Shielded IV Catheter - 18, 20, 22, 24 Gauge

The BD Insyte Autoguard Winged Shielded Peripheral IV Catheter is safety-engineered with clinician-activated push-button needle shielding. It is made with BD Vialon catheter material and is available in 18, 20, 22, and 24G and 0.75-1.88 inch needle lengths.

Except for 18G, the IV Catheters feature Instaflash technology with a notched needle to provide visual confirmation of vessel entry. After insertion, push-button activation retracts and encapsulates the needle into a safety barrel to help reduce needlestick risk.

Wings on the hub facilitate taping the IV catheter to the patient's arm, helping to keep it in place during treatment.
