IV Catheter for High-Flow IV Therapy

The BD Insyte Autoguard 18G IV Catheter offers high-flow vascular access for fluid delivery, blood transfusions, and contrast injections. With a green hub and non-winged design, it features kink-resistant polyurethane that softens in the vein to reduce irritation and support extended dwell times. The push-button needle retraction system helps minimize needlestick injuries for safer handling.

Both 1.16-inch and 1.88-inch models are non-blood control and designed for pressure-rated protocols up to 300 psi. Instaflash™ technology provides instant vein entry confirmation to improve first-stick accuracy. The 1.16-inch catheter delivers a gravity flow rate of 105 mL/min, while the 1.88-inch catheter supports 95 mL/min, ensuring efficient medication and fluid administration.
