Each Twinpak device features a 20 G steel cannula for syringe filling and a 17 G blunt plastic cannula for safe access to preslit vial stoppers or needle-free IV ports. The design supports needleless transfers, helping reduce the risk of needlestick injuries while maintaining sterile technique.
BD Twinpak is available as a standalone dual cannula device or with pre-attached 5 mL or 10 mL syringes. The red hub distinguishes the syringe-side cannula, ensuring proper orientation and workflow efficiency during IV prep.
