Lubri-sil IC Catheters, manufactured by Bard, are Infection Control Catheters, designed with a silver alloy coating that has the ideal balance of silver and Hydrogel to best prevent urinary tract infections. IC Catheters are engineered with Bacti-Guard technology that is clinically proven to reduce the risk of CAUTI's. Bard Foley Catheters use a silicone base that is treated with a silver and hydrogel coating.

IC Catheters form a non-stick surface that bacteria cannot adhere to reducing biofilm formation. These Silver Alloy Catheters are also available in a Bardex brand version.
