Bardex Lubricath Foley Catheters feature a unique coating which delivers lower surface friction when activated by water, improving your comfort level during the catheterization process. For patients with a medical condition requiring a long-term catheter solution, the Bardex Lubricath Foley Catheter is the right choice. Referred to as an indwelling or Foley Catheter this type of catheter indwells into an individual's bladder by way of the urethra. It is held in place by a small balloon that is inflated in the bladder to keep the catheter from falling out while you go about your normal activities. Urine is then automatically drained out of your bladder into a Urinary Drainage Bag. Available in both regular and pediatric sizes, Bardex Lubricath Foley Catheters are long-lasting catheters that prevent bacterial adherence and reduce the risk of urethral damage.
