Atrauman Impregnated Wound Contact Layer - Several Sizes

Atrauman is a sterile, paraffin-free, impregnated wound contact layer used between a superficial acute or chronic wound and a secondary absorbent dressing. It is designed for slightly to moderately exudating wounds where a non-adherent primary contact layer is needed.

The Atrauman Wound Contact Layer is non-medicated and impregnated with triglyceride-based ointment to help protect the wound bed from secondary dressing adhesion. This wound contact layer helps support gentle, atraumatic dressing removal.

The porous construction of the Atrauman impregnated dressing helps wound exudate pass through to a secondary absorbent dressing while still protecting the wound bed from adhesion. The wear time, dressing changes needed, and size of the contact layer will depend on the wound and exudate level.

Atrauman is available in several sizes for different wound coverage needs. The dressing may be cut to size with sterile scissors when appropriate to match wound dimensions and care protocol.
