Allevyn Classic Adhesive Foam Dressings have unique triple-layer technology that manages fluid exudate to promote quick and effective wound healing. The layers consist of materials that properly absorb moderate and heavy amounts of fluid from burns, lesions, and cuts. The top layer of this adhesive dressing is highly breathable, reducing the risk of maceration. It also shields the wound from harmful bacteria. The second layer features highly absorbent hydrocellular foam. And the third layer is the nonadherent contact layer. We offer various sizes to fit most parts of the body, including awkward areas like the elbows, toes, and fingers. The bandages can be cut for further customization.

How To Use Allevyn Adhesive
Application
- Choose the best size.
- Trim excess hair.
- Cleans the wound and surrounding area.
- Remove excess moisture.
- Separate protector film.
- Place the adhesive side on the skin.
- Remove the second protector film.
- Smooth out any creases on wound dressing.
Frequency of Change
Dressings can stay on for up to seven days. However, the wound and surrounding area should be monitored closely. Allevyn Adhesive Sacrum Dressings can be left for up to five days. Dressings should be changed earlier if exudate becomes visible.
Removal
Slowly lift one corner of the dressing and peel back. For sacral dressings, begin at the top part of the dressing down toward the anus.
