Description

Eclypse® Secondary Dressing CR3769 is multi-layered, super absorbent dressing with superior wicking technology to quickly absorb wound exudate and harmful bacteria. Advancis Medical, manufacturer of the Eclypse® line of dressings, constructs its inner layer with specialized gel that swells when in contact with moisture. It features a large uptake capacity to effectively manage exudate and bacteria without worry of leakage.

This secondary dressing is necessary for high exuding wounds and pressure ulcers. These types of wounds involve very sensitive skin and therefore a non-adherent dressing such as this helps avoid further skin aggravation. The film backing is also water resistant allowing moisture vapor transfer to be effective in preventing strike-through. A patient therefore can wear the dressing up to seven days adding comfort with less dressing changes as well as confidence in its healing abilities.
