ACE Elastic Bandage

ACE Bandages are 3M compression wraps used to create localized pressure. ACE stands for "All Cotton Elastic". Formerly manufactured by Becton Dickinson, ACE bandages are now manufactured by 3M. Each Bandage comes with two fasteners (ACE E-Z Clips) or with the new Velco fastener. ACE bandages are treated with an antimicrobial to inhibit the growth of bacteria on the bandage.

The Genuine ACE Bandages come in three sizes that work well on different parts of the body.

• 2" Bandages for wrist, hand, or foot.
• 3" Bandages for elbow, ankle, or knee.
• 4" Bandages for shoulder or lower leg.
• 6" Bandages for chest.

ACE elastic bandage wraps are commonly used to treat muscle sprains and strains. When 3M compression wraps are applied, the compression reduces blood flow to the area. ACE Bandage can also be used to apply even pressure to an area restricting swelling.

Keep several ACE elastic bandage wraps in each size on hand to treat lymphedema and other venous conditions. ACE Wraps are also useful for weight loss when applied as a body wrap. ACE Wraps are often used as a wrap for rehabilitating injured animals.
