Nepro Therapeutic Nutrition comes in great-tasting mixed berry, butter pecan, and homemade vanilla for either oral or tube feeding. Choose from 8 oz Nepro in tetra cartons and bottles or a 1000 mL ready-to-hang bottle for enteral feeding.

The Nepro Shake for Dialysis Patients is a specialized formula with concentrated calories and can act as either sole-source nutrition or to supplement a diet. Studies conducted showed patients had increased nutritional stats after consuming Nepro when on dialysis. Nepro contains CarbSteady, an exclusive carbohydrate blend by Abbott Nutrition to manage blood glucose response after eating. Instructions for Use: Ready-To-Hang Container

• Use careful and hygienic procedures to avoid contamination and to not reduce hangtime.
• DO NOT touch any part of the container or feeding set that comes into contact with the formula.
• Pump feeding is recommended by using a 8 Fr or larger tube. Gravity feeding not recommended.
• Administer product at room temperature.
• THOROUGHLY wash hands with soap and water before handling container or feeding set.
• Turn container upside down and shake in a twisting motion for 10 seconds.
• When initiating feeding, follow physician's instructions. Obtain flow rate and volume according to patient's condition and tolerance.
• Additional fluid requirements should be met by giving water between or after feedings or when flushing the tube.
• Follow Directions for use with feeding set.

For Use with Enteral Feeding Pumps:

• Remove dust cover from RTH Safety Screw Cap and feeding set connector.
• Insert feeding set connector into the port of RTH Safety Screw Cap and pierce foil.
• Turn connector collar clockwise until it's fastened.
• Close clamp on set before inverting container.
• Invert and suspend on the built-in ring at the bottom of container.
• Hang product for up to 48 hours after initial connection.

Instructions for Use: 8-fl-oz Bottle or Tetra Carton

• Store unopened at room temperature or refrigerate.
• Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Shake before opening.
• Once opened, cover, refrigerate and consume within 48 hours.

Tube Feeding:

• Follow your healthcare professional guideline for flow rate and volume.
• Pump feed at room temperature with an 8 Fr or larger tube. It's not for gravity feeding.
• When used as a sole source of nutrition, additional water may be required between, after feedings and when flushing the tube.
