It delivers continuous antimicrobial activity from chlorhexidine gluconate. This antimicrobial dressing is for patients with implanted venous ports, including oncology patients and hematology patients, and may be used with non-coring Huber needles.
3M Tegaderm CHG Port Dressing is antimicrobial and supports routine dressing changes around IV port access.
The adhesive-free window reduces the risk of sticking to the needle during removal. The conforming edge border with pattern-coated adhesive reduces edge lift and supports longer wear time. A securement tape strip with a notch helps seal the dressing border and anchor tubing.
