Opsite Dressings are Transparent Film Dressings that allow the patient or caregiver to monitor the wound site. Standard Opsite Transparent Film Dressing
Standard Opsite Transparent Film Dressing is a see-through, adhesive film, allowing patients and caregivers to monitor the wound and the healing process without changing the dressing as frequently. The film is vapor permeable, conformable and extensible. Opsite Transparent Waterproof Film is widely used to provide a moist wound environment for superficial wounds. Opsite dressings are also ideal for use as a secondary dressing.
Standard Opsite Transparent Film Dressing Features and Benefits
- Superior film with acrylic adhesive is highly extensible and conformable, which combined with its moisture vapor permeability, means the dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days. This minimizes interference at the wound site and reduces the amount of nursing time required.

IV 3000 Opsite Transparent Film Dressing
IV 3000 Opsite provides a range of IV dressings designed to meet the demands of modern IV site care. These specialized dressings can be applied to difficult areas of the body to secure catheters, IV’s, tubes, and other medical instruments. The transparency of the dressing allows caregivers to monitor the insertion site. The IV3000 is waterproof and allows patients to shower with the dressing in position. The Opsite IV3000 comes in three different options to fit the application required by the patient.
- IV3000 One-hand Opsite for non ported peripheral catheters and central applications, the One-hand Opsite IV3000 comes with fixation and documentation label. It prevents skin maceration or irritation to provide greater patient comfort.

This Opsite dressing is conformable and extensible. Widely used to provide a moist wound healing environment for superficial wounds, Opsite Flexigrid is also ideal for use as a secondary dressing.

Post-Op Opsite Transparent Dressings provide greater permeability to allow easier vapor passage. Post-op Dressing combines the features of increased permeability with the high MVTR REACTIC hydrophilic polyurethane film used to manufacture the Opsite IV3000 Transparent Adhesive Film Dressings. The patented REACTIC film is 3 to 8 times more permeable to water vapor than standard film dressings. The Opsite Post-Op Dressing can transform in the presence of moisture allowing excess moisture to transpire off.
