NOTE: Fasten all buckles to minimize damage during wash and dry cycles. Close hook and loop fasteners before washing to prevent lint build-up. Use stiff metal brush to clean hook material after washing. Test hook and loop adhesion before use, and discard Belt if hook and loop does not hold securely. During the washing process metal buckles could bend and quick-release buckles could crack or break. Do not put buckles through extractors. Always ensure that all buckles are in good working order and are not cracked or broken before each use.

Belts are WAY too stiff !!!
By: Clay
(Posted on 12/19/11)Product Rating We bought 2 of the Fiesta #6527 a couple years ago. They both have been washed
approx. 2 dozen times & have yet to soften up. The Bouquet 6531L we just bought
are just as stiff. We have used belts if different nursing homes & they are softer. -

(Posted on 7/31/11)Product Rating thank you so much for the really fast delivery! The Rehabulation center where my husband spend 3 months used the Posey Gait belts ...I especially liked the Velcro model...my husband can take it off with one hand if necessary. It is so handy to use while supporting him...he had a stroke and is re-learning to walk and sometimes need some help in staying upright....or sitting upright in his wheelchair. Thanks again.

By: Yenny
(Posted on 4/12/11)Product Rating Very very sturdy. I have washed them with washing machine several times. So far colors and shapes are all the same as they were before. Actually designs are better in reality than how they look on computer screen.

great product
Got a question about this product?
What is the best way to clean the gait belts? Do you find that the machine washing is hard on them? Is there a concern on cross contamination when using on multiple patients?
