- junk ! do not purchase !
I purchased these with the hopes they wood be convenient for when I was away from home...What a joke ...Good thing I decided to experiment with one ...Turns out I needed scissors to open the tinfoil package ..Then there wasn't enough water in the packet to activate the lube...The eyelets are very rough also ...It's bad enough be put through the trauma of this process ...Too bad there isn't a reputable distributor that could be helpful ...I spent way too much money and time trying to find a decent product not too mention the pain...
- Best catheters ever!
While some of the packets can be a little difficult to pop, it doesn't take much effort against a hard surface. My daughter has been cathed now for 11 years and this has been our favorite - and we've tried most of them. This catheter is the one she uses at school or when away from home. They are also more comfortable than cheaper catheters and the packaging makes it possible to be discreet. We just wish they were a little more affordable.
- Returning the rest
I had high hopes for these Magic3 Hydrophilic Anti-Bacterial Intermittent catheters, however, after using 7 of these they keep getting stuck while pulling them out. I've made sure they were wet even waited 30 seconds before insertion. I even ran one under tap water. NO Luck. It's like it has been glued. Let me tell you that was very painful and it happened every time. I kept thinking; "I am doing something wrong" so I tried all different methods to assure they were wet. It's not me it is the catheters. Might be old, might have a defect, or not stored properly. Does not matter! I am not risking injury and damn that hurt. Hey Mike your review is wrong. Magic3 Inter. Catheters DO NOT come in foil, that's Coloplast SpeediCath
- Not enoUgh water
not happy with the amount of water provided to lubricate catheter . I would purchase a different catheter.
- not enough water
not enough water. Don't buy these catheters.
- Overall, good experience with these catheters
These catheters have worked well for me since I have started using them. The catheter package is difficult to open occasionally and am concerned that I will not be able to open after arthritis worsens. I've had no issues with the amount of lubricant. I do take precautions to prevent the lubricant from entering the catheter as there will be less to coat the outside surface of the catheter.
