This is not the product to use if you cath 4 x's a day. it seemed like a great deal and I purchased 6 mo's worth ; what a big mistake!! I agree that it is NO substitute for Surgilube

You would think sterile lub jelly is all the same.no..no..no..!!! This stuff is crap. I made the mistake of purchasing a 6 mo supply

This product is not a viable substitute for Surgilube. It is much thicker and gel like than Surgilube which makes it less smooth for insertion of urinary catheters. This should be listed as EZ Lube which is the product name it is known by in the industry. Invacare is the manufacturer name that I was unfamiliar with or I never would have ordered this product.

As a reproductive specialist, I do specimen collection almost everyday. Pap smear one after another and other internal exam is inevitable in my profession. So I have to make sure I use the best lubricant that won't irritate my patient and that would work well. This one does its job without the hassle. It helps my hands with gloves slide in a patient's organ without any problems.

This is the perfect fit when they need to change the catheter once a week. The other stuff they use would leave me feeling greasy. Now I don’t feel dirty or oily when they are done. I am so happy that the change was made since I feel more comfortable.
