The individual pouches also add convenience and peel-down for fast aseptic handling prior to application. surgical gauze sponges are ideal for prepping the wound or padding the wound as a dressing. It is 8-ply to add softness and absorption. The edges are folded in to keep raw edges unexposed to reduce linting.
