ChloraPrep Applicators contain a pre-operative or pre-injection solution made of 2% chlorhexidine gluconate and 70% isopropyl alcohol. This makes Chloraprep Skin Cleanser ideal for guarding against many pathogens such as fungi, yeast, viruses and most bacteria. The skin cleanser solution is also faster and longer lasting than traditional iodophors, reaching 48 hours instead of 3.
ChloraPrep applicators are latex-free. They are also designed for one use each with all the antiseptic needed inside. Simply activate it by pinching the wings or lever and wait for the sponge to saturate.
The Hi-Lite Orange applicators offer the added benefit of easy visualization on a variety of skin tones.
