Calmoseptine Ointment Features and Beneftis
This Multi-Purpose Ointment protects, soothes and heals all at the same time. Calmoseptine, Inc. originally developed this product to treat diaper rash, but users found that it effectively treats most skin irritations, especially irritations caused by body fluids and other moisture.
Calmoseptine creates a protective barrier over the skin. This barrier prevents feces, urine, sweat and other irritants from making contact with the already-irritated area, and it also helps to lock in moisture.
Interestingly, some of its ingredients also help to draw out moisture from the skin. Its drying and moisturizing properties work together in a perfect balance to keep skin at the optimal moisture level. Above all else, this is exactly what irritated, inflamed skin needs to heal.
For the best results, only a thin layer of Calmoseptine is needed. This means that the ointment from just one or two tubes can stretch a long way.
Calmoseptine is safe for children and infants. It can be applied anywhere on the body except the eyes, deep wounds and mucous membranes.
Because of its soothing ingredients, Calmoseptine will prevent pain and discomfort in patients when it is applied prior to cleaning soiled skin areas. First apply the ointment to the soiled area. Then wipe the soiled area clean. The protective layer will prevent the cleaning process from further damaging the already-damaged skin. After the area is clean, apply more Calmoseptine to protect the skin and promote healing.
In addition, this ointment does not have to be wiped clean if it is not desired. It can be left on the skin. When wiping Calmoseptine off the skin, simply use a dry cloth or gauze. Read about additional features and benefits of Calmoseptine below.
