The MedLine Weil Knee Walker is the revolutionary device that is replacing crutches. Whether it be broken bones, bad sprains, or surgery, injuries to the lower leg can knock you off your feet. When this happens, learning to adjust to crutches can be painful. You choose to swap the crutches for a wheelchair. However, you may discover that a wheelchair isn't as easy or pleasant as it seemed when you were using the crutches. Sure, on flat surfaces, the wheelchair is great, but on an incline, it can seem near impossible to use. Eventually, it'll take you back to the crutches and the pain along with them. Complaints like these are common for podiatrists (foot and ankle specialists), which is why the Weil 2nd Generation Knee Scooter (Medline MDS8600G2) was created.

With its simple and foldable design, the MedLine Generation 2 Weil Knee Walker provides superior comfort and ease-of-use compared to crutches. Everything from height adjustments to breakdown and storage is completely tool-free, so they can be done anywhere, anytime, for any situation. Additionally, this design is ideal for either leg without any adjustment, so this product is perfect for anyone, regardless of injury. Plus, the smooth wheels offer great traction and silent motion in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Medline's 2nd Generation Knee Walker is more comfortable than crutches and safer as well. As previously mentioned, this device was designed by a podiatrist to help the healing of the lower leg while also relieving unnatural pressure and strain from the arms. Crutches transfer the body's weight to the arms and shoulders. While designed to be as comfortable as possible, crutches deliver forces to the upper body that it was never designed to handle. These forces can cause discomfort and potential injury. In fact, according to Vive Health, crutches can directly cause nerve damage if used improperly. Not to mention that the smaller contact surfaces of crutches increases your risk of experiencing a devastating fall. Products like Knee Walkers avoid these issues by keeping pressure on the upper leg and providing a wide, stable support base. These two things work together to deliver a better user experience overall.

MedLine's 2nd Generation Weil Knee Walker is convenient to take with you no matter the situation. The collapsible design allows for easy storage for vehicular transportation or stowing under tables when going out to eat. It also has a steering lock and hand break so you can stand safely without sliding. Height adjustments to this device are also simple and can be configured on the go as the situation demands. Plus, it comes with a removable metal basket to hold your items. This item is compatible with any Cam Walker Boot and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds.
