The Thermotex Far Infrared Heating Pad - Knee combines radiant heat therapy in a form of a knee brace to obtain full coverage around the knee. As a heating pad, the TTS Knee applies radiant heat that penetrates deeper to reduce pain and stiffness, whether it's working with chronic pain or nursing a new injury. The hook and loop closures make it easy to obtain the desired fit around the circumference of the knee.
The brace has two 3 x 8-inch patented heat inserts that fit inside the brace. It's powered up with a simple on/off switch and takes 10 minutes to warm up and 20 minutes for the infrared heat wavelengths to penetrate 2.36 inches deep into the joint and muscle tissue. Heat therapy reduces pain and removes inflammation. Using the brace aids in faster recovery as blood circulation increases to remove fluid buildup and even lactic acid after a tough workout.
