Eagle Health Sliding Transfer Bench With Swivel Seat is a mobility aid that uses strong, high-quality materials to make entering and exiting the tub safe and easy. The patented sliding seat effortlessly glides across polished, high-strength aluminum tubes to transport users over the bathtub wall. All variations, excluding the tub-mounted Swivel Sliding Bath Transfer Bench (Eagle Health Supplies 77762), have adjustable legs to fit the user and the bathtub clearing.

These sliding transfer benches add comfort, starting with their molded plastic seat and back with a textured finish. Eagle Health's swivel seats automatically lock every quarter turn, giving the user the ability to turn without help. In addition, the seat's texture with drain holes creates a slip-resistant surface. The shower bench slides on high-grade aluminum rails with patented sliding rings that lock the seat when it reaches the end of the rail. This ensures the seat doesn't slide away as the user sits down or gets up to exit. A safety belt strap can be installed to provide additional security for users requiring trunk support.

Entering the Tub or Shower

1. Make sure the chair is locked and facing outward, away from the tub.
2. Back onto the chair.
3. Fasten seatbelt.
4. Push the center release button.
5. Rotate the chair toward the front of the tub or shower until the seat locks.
6. Press the side release button.
7. Slide chair toward tub or shower.
8. Lift the leg closest to the tub or shower.
9. Place the foot on the edge of the tub or shower.
10. Keep the seat moving toward the tub or shower.
11. As the user's second leg gets to the tub or shower, lift it and place it on the side.
12. Move the chair into the tub or shower.

Leaving the Tub or Shower

1. Press the side release button.
2. Slide the chair out of the tub or shower.
3. As each leg reaches the edge of the tub or shower, lift.
4. When the chair reaches the end of the carriage, press the swivel button.
5. Swivel the chair so that it faces outward.
6. Stand up.

1. Decide which direction the seat needs to face (left or right when facing the tub or shower).
2. For right-facing chairs, insert the front rail (the one with four pins) into the right frame tube of the tall side panel. The two small pins should face forward.
3. For left facing, insert the front rail into the left frame tube of the tall side panel with the two small pins facing forward.
4. Snap the rear rail into the opposite hole of the side rail.
5. Slide the seat onto the front and back rails with the red tabs aligning with the front rail.
6. Snap the front and back rails into the small side panel.
7. Snap the chair back into the seat.
8. Insert the four legs.

For Showers

1. Remove the shower door.
2. Install a shower curtain rod and shower liner.
3. Cut two slits in the shower liner to fit around the swivel transfer chair's carriage.
4. Close the shower liner to ensure fit.

For Tubs

1. Purchase two inexpensive shower liners.
2. Cut two slits in the shower liner to fit around the swivel transfer chair's carriage.
3. Close the shower liner to ensure fit.
