The Welch Allyn SureTemp Plus 690 Electronic Thermometer captures fast and accurate body temperature readings for patients of all ages. The thermometer offers an ergonomic handheld design and is available with a wall-mount version for easy storage. It features a large LCD screen for clear temperature readings in Fahrenheit or Celsius. A large recall button displays the last temperature when needing to compare readings. It's battery powered and displays battery life and captures approximately 6,000 readings before batteries need to be replaced. On average it provides fast 4-6 second oral readings, 10-13 second pediatric axillary and 12-15 second adult axillary temperature readings. The SureTemp Plus 690 thermometer comes with removable and interchangeable probe to conduct either oral/axillary or rectal readings in order to facilitate readings on patients of all ages. The interchangeable probe and well also reduces risk of cross-contamination. The handheld design conveniently store up to 25 probe covers and the wall-mount stores 50 probe covers.
