How does the battery charger work?
The charger uses a standard electrical outlet that connects to the battery. The charger takes the standard electrical outlet voltage and converts it to 24-volt DC (direct current). What should be done if the Jazzy Passport Electric wheelchair gets wet?
Dry the power chair as thoroughly as possible. When exposed to rain, keep it in a dry place for 12 hours to allow unseen moisture to evaporate. Before using the power chair, test the brakes and controller to ensure it’s operational.

Does the Jazzy Folding Power Chair ship with a fully charged battery?
The battery is charged, but may not be fully charged. It's recommended to charge for eight hours before riding.

What do I do if the battery dies while riding?
Engage the free-wheel lever to disable the wheels from the drive system. This allows the chair to be maneuvered manually.
