Leckey Everyday Activity Seat

The Everyday Activity Seat, by Leckey promotes improved posture in children with moderate postural needs by providing pelvis stability and optimal comfort. The seat uses a cushioned, adjustable, four-point harnessing system. The soft, comfortable side pads, positioned on both sides of the hips, are adjustable to provide a snug fit and reinforce the pelvis.When necessary, chest laterals can also be used to support the child's trunk, and a comfortable head rest is depth and height adjustable to provide appropriate head support. Optional protraction pads are also available for children who need extra support of the upper limbs. The comfortable backrest can be height and angle adjusted by hand. A tilt-in-space ability can make it easier for the child to transition to a standing position.

This upright positioning makes everyday activities less tiring for children with moderate needs and allows the child to participate in more activities going on around them. The chair also promotes inclusivity among siblings and peers. The Leckey Everyday Activity Seat can be used throughout the day, at home or at school. Locking casters can move the chair smoothly across carpet or hard flooring.
