Nasco Male and Female Catheterization Models are designed to be realistic. These male and female catheterization models can be used to demonstrate proper sterilization and catheterization procedures. They are anatomically correct and made out of a material that feels similar to real flesh. These models can be mounted on the included training stand or used on a tabletop for patient simulations. Both the male and the female uses a 16 French catheter and can be used to demonstrate balloon inflation. When successful insertion of the catheter is achieved, a fluid reservoir that is built into these models will release simulated urine, lending realism to training sessions.
