The Molift Smart 150 Portable Patient Lift has an innovative design that allows for a broad hoisting range and comfortable positioning. The hoist uses a 4-point sling suspension to provide plenty of room for the patient as they are being lifted. The Molift Smart 150 Lift is capable of hoisting people who are positioned on the floor and has a hoist range of 10.6 to 66.1 inches. Molift Smart 150 lift compact design makes it easy to maneuver through tight spaces or around corners. This innovative lift is lightweight and easily transported. It can be folded down into a compact position without the use of any tools. The compact folded position makes the unit convenient to store, ideal for home care. Product Safety Precautions

Assembling the Molift Smart 150 Lift

Inspect the Molift Smart 150 hoist to make sure there is no damage. If any damage is present, contact your dealer. Make sure that the battery is disconnected. Remove the transport elastic and spread the legs to their working position. Raise the lifting column and slide it into the bracket on the chassis, making sure that the pins slide to the bottom of the bracket. Once the column is in place, pushing the locking handle down and make sure the column is firmly attached. Put the battery into the battery holder and verify that the emergency stop button isn't activated. Run the lifting arm up and down without a load to check for accuracy of motion. Make sure that there are no loose parts and that the legs stay locked into position. Go over the checklist to make sure that the device works properly before using it.

Run the lifting arm down while holding the suspension arm up toward the lifting arm. Place the suspension are into the transport hook. Remove the battery to keep it from falling out. Disconnect it from the unit to avoid draining the battery. Open the locking handle and lift the column up. Fold the column down to the transport position. Fasten the hand control to the driving handle. Push the legs back together and secure them with the transport elastic. Put the unit into its bag.

How to Properly Store Your Lift

Make sure that the battery is removed and that the emergency stop button is activated. Store in pressure of 70 - 106 kPA, with humidity of 15 - 93%, and a temperature of between -25 - 70 degrees Celsius.

How to Operate Your Portable Lift

The Molift Smart 150 has two buttons built-in to its hand control. One is for up and lifts individual, the other is down and lowers the individual. The handle has a built-in diode which lights up if the battery needs to be recharged. You can adjust the legs by using pedals that are located on the chassis. The unit also has an electrical emergency lowering button in case of system failure. In the event of total failure, use the manual lowering button.

Position the suspension so that its longest part runs perpendicular to the body. Make sure that all four hooks are connected to the suspension hooks so that the individual doesn't slide around or fall out. Place the user as low as possible, with their feet resting on the chassis where possible. Spread the legs as wide as possible for maximum stability.

Use caution while moving the individual as they may swing during turns, stops, and starts. Be away of surroundings as you move the individual to avoid collisions.

 

How to Clean Unit
