Meridian Medical was formerly known as Pyramid Industries. Founded in 2001 as a manufacturer of medical equipment and supplies. Seating products and positioning products and accessories. Support surface products include gel overlays, air mattresses, turning air mattress, universal mattress pumps and bariatric gel overlays. Seating and positioning products include an active air seat, an air recliner, wheelchair cushions, basic and molded foam, foam positioners, basic back cushion, gel seats, combination seats, invalid rings, lateral rolls and bed wedge cushions. Meridian Medical support surface products are made with new technologies, including gel overlays. These advanced overlays prevent patients for bottoming out. The Safe-T-Guard Cover reduces the risk of falls and en­trapment. This safety cover adapts to fit all standard-size hospital mattresses as well as standard 8” alternating air mattresses. Another advanced surface product is the Active Air Seat. The active air seat is a battery operated alternating pressure cushion that consists of a combination of pressure relieving foam and an alternating pressure section. Meridian Medical gel seat cushions provide patient positioning, pressure reduction and maximum comfort. The contoured base of the gel seat cushions consists of four grades of foam plus a gel bladder. Each gel cushion comes with a nylon security strap with hook and loop closure. A washable and fluid-proof antibacterial cover ensures your gel cushion has a long service life.
