Sitting in a regular chair, you could find yourself in a position where you are not able to stand on your own. You could get assistance from another, or you could stand up with just the push of a button.
The Medlift 2555 Two-Way Reclining Lift Chair will help you stand up, while providing all the comfort and security of a safe, sturdy lift chair. Engineered in the U.S., this lift chair is designed to accommodate almost all heights and weights. An overall reclining length of 60 inches means it can comfortably seat a person between 5-feet 2-inches and 6-feet 2-inches tall. A single-touch controller can quickly put you in any position you want. It's able to easily place you in a fully-reclined position to a seating position in seconds. When you're ready to get moving again, the Medlift will gently push upward and forward until you're near a full-standing position. The Medlift will do most of the work for you in just the push of a button.
The construction of the Medlift begins with kiln-dried hardwood, which helps shape and keep its comfortable form through the lifetime of the chair. During assembly, the joints are secured with glue and connected with steel fasteners. High grade bolts go completely through the wood and all major joints are secured with gang nails for added security. Locking T-nuts secure the mechanism of the chair and double locking nuts are placed at all other connection points. High quality wood screws and corner blocks added to all critical points create more strength and stability. As a final piece of the construction process, an extra rail is used across the top of the seat's back.
Flex foam and padding is used for ideal comfort. This specially-used foam creates a "push back" effect that adds one-pound of pressure for every pound that is placed on the seat cushion. This type of technology gives the Medlift the long-lasting durability you crave while also maintaining as much of its original shape throughout the lifetime of the product. The addition of a layer of super soft foam offers a nice feel to the seat along with the strength available from the base foam. All of this makes the Medlift the most unique chair on the market today.
Combining itself with the most durable foam combination available is some of the strongest springs put together. The springs used in the Medlift are 9 gauge Morley System no sag springs. Five strategically-placed springs are tied together with tie wire to make every spring work as one unit. The back springs are thicker (12 gauge) for added strength so you can remain comfortably seated.
The most impressive part of the Medlift is the base. Constructed in the U.S., the Super Sagless lift base is as wide as the base of the chair, assuring just about anyone who sits in the chair will be lifted to an upright position.
The 2555-Series comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, lift mechanics and all reclining hardware. It also has a four-year warranty on all other parts of the chair.
