ListenTalk ADA Kit Overview

The ListenTalk Portable ADA (Listen Technologies LKS-4-A1) is a multi-directional audio transmitter system that is designed for use by the hearing impaired. It features an Exclusive Encryption Technology with an automatic refresh to keep conversations secure. The Listentalk equipment transmits on the Dect 6.0 - 1.9GHz frequency to limit frequent signal drops and static suffered by wifi 2.0 GHz devices. The system works by using transceivers for each individual in the group.

Using the transceivers is simple. To start, designate one of the transceivers as the leader, using the red clip that comes with the kit. Then, it needs to be paired with other transceivers to identify them as part of the group. This is done by simply touching transceivers to the back of the leader. Once transceivers are connected this way, they will receive the audio transmitted by the leader and will be able to respond in kind by simply holding down the microphone button. Only one follower transceiver may respond to the leader at a time. More detailed instructions can be found in the video below.
