Kinetec Centura Lite Shoulder CPM Machine Overview

The Centura Lite Continuous Passive Motion Machine is designed to provide at-home CPM therapy for those undergoing shoulder rehabilitation for a variety of conditions. The gentle moving of the shoulder joint aids healing, reduces swelling and stiffness, and helps restore range of motion. The handheld control holds up to 16 different routines for patients to use. The Centura Lite can be used for either the right or left arm. Using a color-coded system, it is easy to set up and change over for use on the other arm. The Centura folds up into a lightweight, easy-to-transport unit. It is fully compatible with the Kinetec Data Capture Software package.

Fully Functional At-Home Rehabilitation

The Centura Lite CPM Therapy Machine provides a way for patients to complete a fully functional CPM rehab routine from home. Additionally, therapists can create full physical therapy rehab protocols and save them to the USB so they can be uploaded to the Centura Lite CPM Rehab Machine for the patient to follow at home.

Robust Function and Range

The Kinetec Centura Lite is designed to provide a full CPM shoulder rehab routine in one unit. The passive range of motion options are:

• Flexion/Extension: 20 degrees to 180?
• Abduction/Adduction: 20 degrees to 160 degrees
• Internal Rotation/External Rotation: -60 degrees to 90 degrees
• Horizontal Abduction: -30 degrees to 110 degrees

In addition to the ability to program a variety of exercises, the Shoulder CPM Machine provides five levels of speed and six levels of inversion force.

Safety Features

The Kinetec Centura Lite Shoulder CPM Machine comes with a host of features and controls to ensure the safety of the user. During the initial setup, parameters are set so that no programming can override the user's range of motion. To prevent pain or injury, any attempt to do so will cause a default to the acceptable range of motion. Individual range-of-motion parameters can be locked to prevent accidental alteration. In addition, out-of-limit resistance can be easily set so that the motion is reversed when the preset level of resistance is met. At any time, the user can pause the routine from one second to 15 minutes.
