The FallGuard Economy Alarm with Seat Belt Sensor for Chairs and Wheelchairs package is designed to aid caretakers with individuals who wander from their wheelchair or chair. Generally the wander alarm and seat belt sensor are purchased separately, but they are now available as a wheelchair alarm or chair alarm set at Vitality Medical. The easy-release seat belt notifies caretakers the moment that an individual unbuckles and attempts to wander. The caretaker is notified through an audio and visual alert and the volume and alarm tone are adjustable. The alarm itself comes with a one year warranty and is also functional with other pressure pads such as the FallGuard bed sensor pad, chair or wheelchair sensor pad, and floor mat sensor pad.
