Non-sterile Hartmann 416817 Econolux® 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponge, 12 Ply offers additional layering over its 8 ply sponges for added softness and absorbency. Non-sterile options provide value with bulk packaging and the box offers quick handling of the gauze sponges. Hartmann Econolux brings quality to wound care constructing the sponges out of hypoallergenic 100 percent cotton. Cotton is a natural material and brings with it excellent absorbency to quickly wick up wound exudate. This makes the sponge and ideal secondary wound dressing to cover the wound or clean and prep the wound. The edges are tucked in to reduce lint contamination to the wound and prevent the sponge from unraveling.

The non-sterile gauze sponges are offered in bulk with 200 gauze sponges per box or case of 10 boxes offering 2000 sponges. Econolux offers a variety of sizes in both sterile and non-sterile options depending on your needs.
