Stand-Assist Lift is and electric lift powered by a 24-volt DC motor that offers powerful and reliable lifting and lowering service. It features an emergency stop button and a manual lowering device. The lift includes a removable and rechargeable battery. A built-in charger keeps the battery charged when not in service. The battery charges quickly to eliminate downtime. How to Operate the Stand-Assist Lift

  • Spread the base legs to the widest position before lifting.
  • Position the Stand-Assist Lift in front of the patient and lock the rear casters.
  • Keep the patient-centered between the base legs. Have the patient position their feet on the foot platform.
  • Be extremely cautious and use slings and/or restraint straps for frail, spastic, or severely handicapped patients.

How to use Standard or Commode Slings

  • With the patient in center of bed, roll patient on side away from the attendant.
  • Position sling beside patient.
  • Roll the patient to the side toward the attendant and center the patient on the sling. With base of the lift under the bed, press the "↓" button on the control handset to lower the boom.

  • During the descent, assist the patient in attaining the correct sitting posture.
  • For transferring to a wheelchair, when patient is seated, push down on boom to slacken hanging strips of sling. The patient can remain seated in sling.
