Description
DevraSorb Polyurethane Foam Dressing is specially designed to accelerate wound healing and is capable of absorbing up to 15 times its weight in fluid. It can also retain liquid equivalent to 10 times its weight. The side of this dressing that is applied to the wound is made of a polyurethane foam that is a mixture of super-absorbent polymer, surfactant, emollients, sodium chloride, and colorant. The dressing has an outer semi-permeable membrane that prevents leaking making this dressing perfect for wounds with moderate to heavy drainage.
The DevraSorb Polyurethane Foam Dressing provides plenty of absorbency and coverage while still allowing the wound to breathe. The non-contact side has a breathable polyurethane film and still allows for physiologic oxygen and moisture vapor permeability. The dressings are odor reducing and has cleansing properties to protect the wound and accelerate healing.
