DeChoker Choking First Aid Device
DeChoker Choking First Aid Device Dechoker

Description

Who Uses This Product? This emergency airway clearance device is safe to use on toddlers, children, and adults. It's administered by parents, emergency workers, school administrators, and more.

Why Give It a Try? Choking is the fourth leading cause of accidental deaths in the U.S.1 Having a Dechoker can make all the difference, especially when standard protocols of back-slapping and chest thrusts fail. Its compact size stores well in a home first aid kit, in the RV, and at the workplace.

Dechoker Overview

The Dechoker anti-choking device is fully assembled and ready for emergencies. When the airway is obstructed, every second counts. Unfortunately, choking emergencies are a common occurrence among children and the elderly.2 The Dechoker airway suction device generates 35kPa of safe vacuum force to dislodge the object.

The Dechoker device also bridges the gap when there are physical limitations with the responder performing the Heimlich maneuver. If the responder can't wrap his or her arms around the person, it is impossible to deliver the chest thrusts. Another limitation to the Heimlich maneuver is when the person is alone. The Dechoker doesn't require a second individual and can be self-performed.
