Sterile Cutimed® Sorbact® Gel Dressing 7261100 by BSN Medical is ideal for sloughy or partly necrotic wounds. It offers DACC technology within in its hydrogel to bind bacteria and effectively remove it from the wound bed. Proprietary DACC technology doesn't kill bacteria as topical impregnated silver dressings do. Rather the specialized gel binds and removes bacteria from the wound bed thus making bacteria unable to replicate and release toxins. This greatly reduces bioburden and promotes faster healing. In addition, the hydrogel promotes a moist wound environment which is optimal with wound healing.

Cutimed® Sorbact® Gel Dressing comes 10 dressings in a box. It measures 3 x 3 inches and comes in a sterile, ready-to-use package for added convenience and to ensure fast application which minimizes the risk of contamination. The Sorbact® gel dressing family also comes in a larger 7.5 x 15 cm for additional surface area for larger wounds.
