Comfeel® Plus Transparent Dressing 3539 by Coloplast adds maximum coverage at 6 x 6 inches. It's the largest in this family of transparent dressings made of hydrocolloid moisture absorbing particles. As wound exudate and bacteria are absorbed it turns into viscous gel that protects the wound without sticking.
Many patients like using a transparent dressing for the fact the wound is always visible to closely monitor its progress. The visibility makes the dressing last long as it doesn't need to be peeled up to check the wound. The dressing can remain in place up to seven days making it cost-effective and fewer dressing changes adds to patient comfort as well.
Comfeel® Plus Transparent Dressing can be placed on any low exuding, non-infected wound. Because of its thin flexible construction, it conforms to difficult to dress areas to also treat leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, superficial burns, skin tears and partial thickness wounds.
Comfeel® Plus Transparent is packaged sterile with 5 dressings in a box. The family of hydrocolloid dressings comes in an assortment of sizes starting at 2 x 2-3/4 inches.
