The Cutimed® Sorbion Sana 7323314 by BSN Medical is a primary dressing that is three-dimensional to minimize wound bed contact for patients with contact sensitivity. This eliminates the need for an additional wound contact layer as an alternative method to minimize trauma to delicate tissue during dressing changes.

The 3-D structure is made of polyethylene that provides high wearing comfort and protects granulation tissue. Sorbian Sana is classified as a Super Absorbent Dressing using BSN's Hydration Response Technology within the 3-D pouch. Both sides of the dressing effectively draw in wound exudate and bacteria and the gel layer locks it in to promote healing.

Sorbion Sana is ideal for wounds with low to high amounts of exudate as well as pressure or venous ulcers. It is also helpful for wound beds with uneven healing. The dressing can protect the wound four to seven days making it cost effective with minimal exposure to outside contaminants during dressing changes.
