Algidex AG Plain 1/2 in x 5 yd Packing Strip Gauze | 46-PG12

Deroyal 46-PG12 Algidex AG Plain 1/2 in x 5 yd Packing Strip Gauze works as an alternate type of wound packing gauze specifically due to its shape and length. Only 1/2 inch wide but with 15 feet of length to work with the packing gauze is perfect for packing against a wound bed and is able to absorb exudate from dermal wounds with additional depth. When packed properly against the wound the gauze will accomplish two things: decrease any odors coming from the wound and create its own barrier of protection to prevent more bacteria from forming. Both aspects come into use thanks to the silver contained in each strip. Once applied, silver penetrates deep into the wound bed as a preventative measure. This will also help speed up the healing process while not allowing infections to occur. For multiple sites or deep cutting wounds, the strips can be trimmed to fit the length you need. As an added convenience the bottle is easy to open for better accessibility.

Algidex is available in 1/2-inch x 5 yard lengths. Each case order will contain 12 rolls of silver gauze.
