Zevex LifeGuard Spike Set (product ID # LG0010) is used with pre-filled containers to reduce nursing time and minimize the risk of bacterial contamination. The LifeGuard Spike Set is non-IV compatible. This spike set includes the following items:
- a "for enteral feeding only" tag
- a pre-attached drip chamber
- patented in-line occluder for automatic free-flow protection
The LifeGuard Spike Set is for use on the Moog EnteralEZ and N2200 stationary enteral feeding pumps.
All Moog enteral delivery sets are DEHP and latex-free. All mating adapters meet AAMI guidelines to prevent potentially hazardous situations in connecting to the patient's feeding tube.
