Description

Details

Wiesner Clamp is designed for the treatment of male incontinence. This incontinence clamp is an external medical device used to control urine leaks. This compression clamp device works by placing pressure on the urethra to prevent the unintended flow of urine. Constructed with an ABS plastic frame and two medical grade silicone rubber cushions, the Wiesner Incontinence Clamp is durable and comfortable. The Wiesner Clamp allows men to live an active lifestyle to enjoy golf, swimming, hiking and many other outdoor activities.

Wiesner Incontinence Clamp works by placing the penis between the two cushions. A hump designed in the under part of the plastic frame concentrates pressure on the urethra to control urine flow. The upper part of the frame is designed to allow blood circulation. The Wiesner clamp pressure is adjustable to meet individual needs of incontinence patients. The closing mechanism is adjustable to accommodate 4 different levels of pressure to achieve the proper amount of compression to prevent urine leakage without discomfort.

Because of surgery, and blood flow to the penis. Will the device work on small sizes?

Save Your Money
I have been grossly incontinent for months following prostate cancer surgery. I was hoping for more freedom and wanted the opportunity for air travel, but the Cunningham Clamp I bought is metal and knew it would not get through airport security without embarrassing problems. Hence I bought the Wiesner Clamp. For one thing it is very cheaply made, just being inexpensive plastic. Secondly it will leak if not placed perfectly on the penis. There is a small nub on the bottom piece that needs to be perfectly placed over the urethra and if not it leaks under stress. It requires both hands to unclamp making urinating in public toilets a bit more of a struggle. The Cunningham Clamp feels much more like a medical device- being well made with metal and high quality foam and easy to use with one hand. The Weisner has inexpensive toy- like quality to it
  • cheaply made, requires 2 hands to unclamp, high price

Save your money, absolute junk!
The plastic is rough, the hindge isn't aligned and if you try to open it all the way it will break. Looks it's made by a third grader who just learned how to shape clay. Many have said it broke after a short time. In addition to poor workmanship and design, it is a total hit and miss in trying to find the right place to put the clamp. I really wished it worked. This is an example of people taking advantage of others who are desperate to find a solution to a serious problem
