Uplift Technologies Risedale Lift Chair

Uplift Technologies has not cut any corners when designing the Risedale Lift Chair. Discreet, powerful, and comfortable, the Risedale is a great addition to your formal living room furniture. Plus, because the lift mechanism only raises the seat, the chair can be placed in smaller spaces than a bulky lift recliner. You can even put the chair directly up against a wall. This unique mechanism also allows the Risedale to maintain a classic, open-legged wing chair design; matching the rest of your room's decor. The designers at Uplift Technologies decided that they wanted the Risedale to have all the capabilities of a powerful lift chair while not having it look like a medical device. And to help you find the perfect chair three attractive brocade fabrics are available: Midnight, Sand, and Spruce. Each fabric is made of 53% Acrylic and 47% Polyester and is both shrink and run resistant guaranteeing you years of use with proper care.

As mentioned above the Risedale is much more compact than standard lift recliners. The chair weighs only 64 pound (29 kg) and so can be easily moved from one position to another, or when you need the chair in another part of your home. This unique size gives you the freedom to tuck the chair into your favorite reading nook, move it close to the fireplace, or place it right up against a wall if you need more space.

Wherever the chair is located, getting out is made easy by using a detachable lever that sticks out from the seat. Install the lever on either the right hand or the left hand side of the seat and gently press forward on the lever to help you stand. To help you stay stable while standing the Risedale uses Uplift's patented LeveLift system - a flexible seat designed to move up and down on a level lifting plane. Meaning that you will be safely seated on a level surface as you stand. This unique system prevents the common problem of feeling "dumped" out of the seat.

To maximize the comfort and usefulness of the your Risedale Chair, you can adjust the height of the chair by simply removing the 1.5" leg extensions that come initially attached. This feature carries over to the matching Ottomans that are also available for each of the Risedale chairs. Sold seperately to give you more options, choose Put your feet up and relax with this comfortable and yet formally styled Ottoman. As mentioned above, the Ottoman comes with the same 1.5" leg extensions that can be easily removed with the enclosed tools.
