Super soft 16-ply McKesson 44162000 Medi-Pak 4 x 4 Inch Gauze Sponge is designed for multiple wound care applications. The non-woven cotton is textured and has the highest layering at 16 ply. This adds comfort but also absorbency. It's constructed of 100 percent natural cotton that's non-woven and textured which creates highly absorbent gauze. The cotton effectively wicks away wound exudate when applied as a wound dressing or to clean or debride the wound. It's commonly used to soak up fluid in oral surgeries as well.

McKesson manufactures both non-sterile and sterile gauze options. Non-sterile provides value with its bulk packaging of 200 sponges. There is a case option of 10 packs of 2000 sponges for supplying hospital and clinics.
