Its innovative, clinically proven design provides economical yet effective performance in a wide variety of care settings. Standard size is 33 inches wide by 72 inches long by 3.5 inches high. Weight limit 250 lbs. Other configurations, sizes, and covers are available to meet the special needs of the O.R., long term care, and pediatric/neonatal population.

The top surface of the Geo-Matt Overlay has more than 800 individually responsive foam cells that are anatomically sized to the area of the body they support. This zoned design delivers the ideal support characteristics needed at the head, torso, and lower extremities. By independently absorbing pressure points, the cells allow the Geo-Matt to customize its support to the body's natural curvature while minimizing the effects of pressure and shearing. In addition, the Geo-Matt Overlay design helps to ventilate the surface, channeling heat away from the patient to minimize perspiration build-up.

The Geo-Matt Overlay is available with two cover options. The first cover is a washable cover made of bacteriostatic fabric of vinyl and nylon that is fire resistant, fluidproof, tear resistant, cleanable, and replaceable. The pleated design allows full integration with the mattress’s Geo-Matt style shear-relieving surface while minimizing hammocking. The second cover option is the Soft Skin Cover with tough, flexible Soft Skin® sleeve for protection from fluids.
