Sit-to-Stand Buttock Strap

The Drive Medical Sit to Stand Buttock Strap is a sling for the patient lifts provided by Drive Medical such as the Drive 13242 Electric Patient Lift as an option. The strap has the ability to handle up to 400 pounds of weight, it is a preferred strap for bariatric patients. The strap has 2 points of cradle, these are points where the strap would loop onto the machine carrying the full weight of the resident.

The Buttock Strap for Drive Stand Assist is meant to be used to help residents transfer from one seated or laid position to a secondary position - a chair close by or onto a new bed or wheelchair also; or even to just assist in getting into an upright standing position. The Drive Medical 13263H Stand Strap is 71 inches in length and offers a large enough range for patients who are tipping close to the 400-pound capacity.

The strap wraps around the buttock to carefully assist in the lifting procedure, and not around through the legs as some other wraps may do - this option can be hard at times if the resident cannot move as easily. The material is heavy duty, and once you accommodate the resident around the strap, it will be sure to help you complete the job.
